Position: Product Development Specialist
Location: Oman

We are excited to announce a compelling opportunity for a highly experienced Product Development Specialist to join a distinguished organization in Oman. This is a pivotal role requiring a seasoned professional with a robust background in dairy and juice product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Testing & Trials: Oversee hands-on product testing, including lab and plant trials, to ensure product quality and performance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain expertise in quality, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements to ensure products meet all necessary standards.
- Leadership & Management: Demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to lead a team and manage projects effectively.
- Strategic Development: Utilize strategic thinking to understand consumer needs and drive the development of innovative products.
- Training & Mentoring: Train, motivate, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Product Development Planning: Execute the annual product development plan, establishing standard recipe formulations, process improvements, and specifications.
- Product Improvement: Lead efforts in developing new products and improving existing ones, presenting proposals to management.
- Trial Management: Conduct lab trials and bulk trials, making necessary modifications to stabilize products.
- Goal Setting & Implementation: Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems related to product development.
- Technology Sourcing: Identify and suggest new technologies for the development of new products.
- Market Analysis: Periodically analyze the local and global market for new product trends and competitive insights.
- Production Coordination: Prepare and implement guides for production, ensuring smooth transitions from development to market launch.
- Marketing Collaboration: Coordinate with the marketing department to ensure successful product launches and market presence.
Experience Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in product development, specifically within the dairy and juice sectors.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science or Food Science is required, with a Post-Graduation in Dairy Science or Food Science disciplines preferred.
