Updated Dubai Visit Visa Rules for Travelers from Pakistan, India, and Other Countries – Effective August 2024

Travelers from Pakistan, India, and other countries planning to visit Dubai should be aware of the new entry requirements to avoid being denied boarding at airports. Dubai authorities have updated their guidelines to enhance tourism and curb overstaying.

 Dubai Visit Visa Rules

Entry Requirements:

  1. Minimum Cash: Carry at least 3,000 Dirhams.
  2. Return Ticket: Ensure you have a valid return ticket.
  3. Proof of Accommodation: Provide evidence of your place of stay in Dubai.
  4. Visa Validity: Have a valid visa and a passport with at least six months’ validity.

Tourist Visa Costs and Types:

  • 48-hour Visa: $10
  • 96-hour Visa: $49
  • Tourist – Single Entry (30 days): $90
  • Tourist – Multiple Entry (30 days): $136
  • Tourist – Single Entry (60 days): $177
  • Tourist – Multiple Entry (60 days): $231

UAE Visit Visa Requirements:

  1. Photo and Passport: Provide a color photo and a passport valid for at least six months.
  2. Application Form: Submit the original application form in Arabic or English, depending on nationality.
  3. Ticket and Proof of Relationship: Include a copy of the Emirates ticket and proof of relationship for family members (e.g., birth certificate, marriage certificate).
  4. CNIC: Provide a valid CNIC issued by NADRA.
  5. Documents Submission: All documents must be submitted in hard copy format.
  6. Visa Fees: Pay the visa fees and any additional processing fees upon application. Note that visa fees are non-refundable.

Processing Time and Validity:

  • Processing Time: Approximately 3 to 4 working days.
  • Visa Validity: All visas are valid for 60 days from the date of issue, except for the 96-hour and 48-hour visas, which are valid for 30 days.

Note: Visitors must travel to and from Dubai on Emirates or codeshare flights only.
