The upgrade also includes Rs1,250 million for the installation of a new steel structure enclosure, which will enhance security and aesthetics. To address the stadium’s environmental and structural needs, Rs189 million is allocated for the creation of a moat around the stadium. Furthermore, Rs330 million is being spent on replacing two LED digital screens, ensuring that the stadium’s visual display capabilities meet modern standards.

The replacement of the existing floodlights with 480 new LED lights is set to cost Rs523 million. Additionally, Rs375 million has been designated for installing new seating to enhance spectator comfort and capacity. External development works, which include various infrastructural improvements, will be funded with Rs93 million.

The National Bank Stadium, located in Karachi, is undergoing an extensive renovation with a total budget of Rs3.5 billion. This includes Rs1,500 million allocated for constructing a new steel structure pavilion building, which will significantly upgrade the stadium’s facilities. Renovation of the main building and hospitality boxes is budgeted at Rs580 million, ensuring enhanced amenities for guests and officials. The installation of two new LED digital screens will require Rs330 million, while Rs490 million is set aside for replacing the existing floodlights with 450 new LED lights, improving visibility and energy efficiency. Additionally, Rs340 million will be spent on installing new seats to provide better comfort for attendees.

In Rawalpindi, Pindi Stadium’s renovation is estimated to cost Rs1.5 billion. The budget includes Rs393 million for replacing the current floodlights with 350 LED lights, enhancing both lighting quality and energy efficiency. Rs400 million is allocated for renovating the main building, hospitality boxes, and restrooms, which will modernize the stadium’s core facilities. Furthermore, Rs330 million is set aside for installing two new LED digital screens, and Rs272 million will be used for new seating installations, ensuring a more comfortable experience for spectators.

These significant investments reflect the PCB’s commitment to upgrading Pakistan’s cricket infrastructure, preparing these venues to host international events with enhanced facilities and modern amenities.
