New Rumor Details iPhone 17 Lineup, Includes Next iPhone SE Apple has yet to unveil the iPhone 16 family, slated for a likely September release, but rumors are already buzzing about the iPhone 17 series, expected to debut next year in September.
A recent leak from prominent Chinese tipster Ice Universe sheds light on the entire iPhone 17 lineup, along with a bonus detail about the next iPhone SE: it will feature an OLED screen, marking a first for Apple’s affordable lineup.
The standard iPhone 17 is rumored to sport an LTPO display with a 120Hz maximum refresh rate and variable refresh rate capabilities, akin to many Android flagship models in recent years. There’s speculation about potential Always-on Display support, although this feature might be reserved for the Pro models. The iPhone 17 is also said to come equipped with 8GB of RAM and the new A19 chip.

Moving to the Pro models, they are expected to feature the A19 Pro chip, 12GB of RAM, and a triple-camera setup including 48MP sensors for wide, telephoto, and ultrawide lenses.
Additionally, there’s mention of the iPhone 17 Slim (potentially also called iPhone 17 Ultra), which is rumored to introduce a completely redesigned ultra-thin form factor. This model might bring a new design language that could potentially influence future iterations in 2026.
As no other significant design changes are speculated for the rest of the lineup, the Slim/Ultra variant could stand out with its distinct new design.
