Job Responsibilities for Front Desk and Administrative Support

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of key duties aimed at ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the company’s front desk and administrative areas:

  • Customer and Visitor Reception: You will be the first point of contact for incoming customers and visitors. Your responsibilities will include warmly welcoming them, providing necessary information, and directing them to the appropriate office or meeting room.
  • Telephone Management: You will handle all incoming telephone calls, including answering calls, transferring them to the relevant departments, recording messages, and following up as necessary to ensure that inquiries are addressed promptly.
  • Front Desk Management: Maintaining the front desk area will be one of your core responsibilities. This involves keeping the area clean, orderly, and welcoming to create a professional and efficient environment.
  • Mail and Package Handling: You will be responsible for managing the receipt and distribution of incoming mail and packages. This includes sorting and forwarding items to the appropriate recipients within the organization.
  • Meeting and Room Arrangements: Assisting with the organization of meetings will be a key part of your role. This includes booking meeting rooms, arranging necessary equipment, and preparing related materials to ensure meetings run smoothly.
  • Administrative Support: In addition to the above tasks, you will perform various administrative support functions such as printing, copying, and scanning documents. This support is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations.
