Mechanical Site Engineer
Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in MEP services installation to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for a professional with substantial experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in the installation of firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient execution of projects, from documentation to testing and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering Expertise: Utilize your degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering to oversee and manage the installation of MEP services, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Installation Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and practical experience in the installation of firefighting systems, plumbing, and drainage. Ensure that all installations meet the required safety and operational standards.
- Project Documentation: Manage and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, inspection requests, material take-offs, and material submittals. Ensure accuracy and completeness in all project records.
- Testing and Commissioning: Apply your expertise in testing and commissioning to ensure that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently before project completion.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous project records to track progress, issues, and resolutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in MEP services installation, with a solid understanding of firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project documentation, drawing interpretation, inspection processes, material take-off, material submittal, and specifications. Demonstrated knowledge in testing and commissioning.
- Additional Preference: Valid Qatar Driving License is highly preferred.
