Position Overview:
As a Usability Tester at Nair Systems, you will be integral to our efforts to optimize user interfaces and ensure that our products meet the highest usability standards. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive usability tests, analyzing UI/UX designs, and providing actionable insights to improve our applications.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years in UI/UX testing, usability testing, or a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record of evaluating and improving user interfaces.
- Platform-Specific Testing: Experience in conducting usability tests across various devices and browsers to ensure consistent and effective user experiences.
- Usability Testing Tools: Proficiency in usability testing tools such as UserTesting, Morae, and Lookback is essential for executing detailed evaluations.
- UI/UX Design Tools: Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD to assess design elements and their impact on usability.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make data-driven recommendations for enhancing user experiences.
- Banking Application Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with the banking application domain is preferred, providing insight into specific user requirements and industry practices.
- Multi-Platform Development: In-depth knowledge of Multi-Platform / Multi-Architecture App Development, including both web and mobile environments.
- Microsoft DevOps: Knowledge of Microsoft DevOps for bug reporting and version management is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for documenting findings and presenting recommendations clearly.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to improving user experiences.
- Accessibility Standards: Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines, such as WCAG, to ensure inclusivity in design.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team, contributing to shared goals and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Usability Testing: Plan, design, and execute usability tests to evaluate user interface effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction.
- UI/UX Evaluation: Review and analyze UI/UX designs for usability, accessibility, and consistency across different platforms.
- Test Plan Development: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on product requirements and user stories.
