The Role
As the Insurance Head, you will be at the forefront of steering the organization towards achieving its strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Establish long-term goals along with quarterly and annual business objectives. Develop and implement high-quality business strategies and plans to meet these targets effectively.
- P&L Management: Oversee the Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and guide the business towards achieving its financial and operational objectives.
- Operational Alignment: Ensure that the company’s operations align with its overarching strategy and mission. Cultivate a robust organizational culture that mirrors the company’s values.
- Team Development: Hire and mentor both commercial and product development teams. Focus on driving high performance and employee engagement through effective coaching and leadership.
- Stakeholder Representation: Act as the company’s representative in dealings with clients, investors, and business partners, fostering strong and productive relationships.
- Team Management: Lead a team of 11-50 individuals, ensuring effective coordination and performance across the board.
Ideal Candidate
The perfect candidate for this role will possess:
- Experience: At least 5 years of solid experience in a similar leadership role within the Healthcare & Lifesciences sector.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record in managing P&Ls and driving organizational growth.
- Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of CPT coding and/or CPC certifications is essential.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively, adapt to changing environments, and lead high-performing teams.
- Mentorship Abilities: Strong mentoring and coaching skills with a focus on building and sustaining high-performance teams.
