Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
  2. Progress Reporting and Delay Analysis: Monitor project progress and analyze delays, providing detailed reports and insights to address any issues and keep projects on track.
  3. Primavera P6 Expertise: Utilize Primavera P6 effectively to manage project timelines, resources, and milestones with excellence.
  4. Data Handling and Analysis: Manage and analyze large volumes of progress data using MS Excel or other computerized systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, fostering collaboration and understanding.
  6. Detailed Project Schedules: Prepare detailed EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project schedules, defining key milestones and critical paths.
  7. Progress Measurement System: Develop and implement a progress measurement system for EPC phases, including Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning, complete with weightages.
  8. Project Histograms and S-Curves: Finalize project histograms and S-Curves based on man-hours and quantity-loaded schedules to visualize project performance and progress.
  9. Schedule Updates and Monitoring: Update and monitor project schedules, identifying slippage, critical paths, and areas of concern. Suggest action plans for recovery and mitigation.
  10. Reviewing Deliverables: Analyze and review contractor and consultant planning deliverables, including schedule updates and progress reports, and compile comments for improvements.
  11. Site Visits: Periodically visit work sites to verify the progress of critical activities and ensure alignment with project plans.
  12. Progress Meetings: Participate in progress meetings with contractors and vendors, offering valuable suggestions and inputs to enhance project execution.
  13. Progress Reports and Presentations: Contribute to the preparation of various progress reports and presentations, supporting the department with accurate and timely information.
  14. Tender Document Review: Review tender documents, prepare clarifications, and communicate with clients to ensure accurate estimation and project scope understanding.
  15. MTO & BOQ Preparation: Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from tender documents for primary disciplines, ensuring detailed and accurate estimates.
  16. Quotation Management: Solicit, monitor, and evaluate quotations from approved vendors for materials, subcontracts, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  17. Quote Comparison: Compare technical and commercial quotes from multiple vendors, selecting the most accurate and cost-effective options for estimation purposes.
  18. Documentation and Database Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation and databases to support project planning, estimation, and execution processes.
