Position Overview:
We are looking for dedicated professionals with a minimum of 3 years of UAE-based experience in accounting. Ideal candidates should possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in payroll processing, as well as a strong grasp of UAE financial regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience working in accounting roles within the UAE is mandatory. This experience should include hands-on involvement in payroll processing and a solid understanding of local regulations.
- Payroll Processing: Demonstrated experience in calculating payroll for more than 100 employees. You should be adept at handling various payroll scenarios and ensuring accurate and timely payment.
- Taxation Knowledge: Complete knowledge of taxation requirements, including VAT and GST. Experience in managing and reporting on tax obligations is essential.
- Statutory Compliance: In-depth understanding of statutory compliance related to payroll and accounting. This includes adherence to UAE laws and regulations governing financial practices.
- MIS and Database Management: Proficiency in maintaining Management Information Systems (MIS) and databases using Excel. You should be skilled at tracking financial data, generating reports, and ensuring accuracy.
- Accounts Books: Experience in maintaining and managing accounts books, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
- UAE Labour Laws: Comprehensive knowledge of UAE labour laws and regulations. You should be familiar with the legal aspects of employment and payroll in the UAE.
- UAE Experience: Proven experience working in the UAE is required. Candidates without UAE experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Payroll Calculation: Accurately calculate and process payroll for a large number of employees, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and timely payments.
- Taxation Management: Manage and report on VAT and GST, ensuring that all tax obligations are met in accordance with UAE laws.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory compliance requirements, including payroll and accounting regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of any changes in regulations.
- MIS Maintenance: Develop and manage MIS and databases using Excel to support financial reporting and analysis. Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into financial performance.
