Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Assembly and Building: Assemble and construct machines or mechanical components according to detailed specifications and design requirements, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Inspection and Diagnosis: Inspect machinery, engines, and transmissions to identify functionality issues, assess performance, and diagnose any malfunctions or inefficiencies.
- Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs to restore machinery and equipment to optimal working conditions, ensuring maximum reliability and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly and effectively troubleshoot problems, implementing solutions to address issues in a timely manner and minimize operational disruptions.
- Cleaning and Lubrication: Clean and lubricate machinery components to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear and tear. Replenish fluids and replace components as needed to maintain peak performance.
- Guidance and Recommendations: Provide guidance on maintenance and preventative measures to users, sharing your expertise to help them understand proper equipment care and operation.
- Additional Duties: Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the maintenance team and the organization.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanic with a solid track record of working on various types of machinery and equipment.
- Technical Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems. Ability to use hand tools and precision measurement tools effectively.
- Procedural Adherence: Aptitude for following established procedures and practices to ensure compliance with operational standards and safety guidelines.
- Health and Safety Commitment: Strong commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information and work collaboratively with team members.
