Site Engineer ELV & AV Systems
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineer with a comprehensive skill set to manage and execute various technical installations and configurations. This role involves working with advanced systems and technologies, including access control systems, IPBX systems, structured cabling, and more. If you have a background in engineering with hands-on experience in these areas, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control Systems: Install and configure access control system software and hardware, including controllers and readers. Ensure seamless integration and connectivity.
- IPBX Systems: Handle the connectivity and configuration of IPBX systems from leading brands such as Avaya, NEC, and Cisco. Expertise in routing, switching, and server management is required.
- Hardware Installation: Oversee the installation of various hardware components including magnetic locks, electromagnetic locks, routers, switches, servers, and WIFI controllers.
- Structured Cabling: Design and implement structured cabling solutions to support various communication and data systems.
- Audio Visual Systems: Install and configure audio-visual systems and video conference systems to meet client specifications.
- AutoCAD Layouts: Edit AutoCAD drawings and create detailed layouts for installation projects. Ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Project Management: Lead installation activities at commercial office sites across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional Certification: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is highly desirable.
- Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Systems: Proven experience with telephone systems (NEC, Avaya, Astrex, Panasonic), routers, switches, servers, door access control systems, CCTV, SMATV, PA systems, and video intercom systems.
